My goal as an independent consultant is to help business users find IT solutions to their problems.  I enjoy making a process more efficient and cost effective.  Taking those skills and leveraging project management principles has been a perfect match for me over the years.  I thrive in an environment where I am managing simultaneous multiple initiatives.  When managing a project I drive the agenda, project plan and schedules thoroughly; meeting objectives and deadlines.  I strive to bring out the best in the abilities of the team and myself.

I focus on the tasks that need to take place now and how those will affect the overall project timeline.   Locating bottlenecks then directing the team and resources to quickly resolve ensure a successful project. Working as a team is crucial, I believe my role is to be supportive, encouraging and firm, rewarding success along the way.

I believe it is my responsibility to lead by example.  When working with end users, business partners and executives it is important to understand their point of view; walking in their shoes. To deliver the best result, sometimes you have to adjust course. Getting to the best solution is not about being right but getting it right which requires compromise, humility, negotiation and staying focused on the end goal.  I work with business sponsors to navigate their decisions that could impact time, budget or project scope to deliver a successful outcome.
